Packaging & Unboxing

Deviating from Cooler Master’s regular black/purple packaging, the SK650 goes with a white box with royal purple accents. On the front of the box is a photo of the SK650, showcasing one of its “Rainbow” RGB presets. Looking to the upper right corner of the box we can see that our SK650 contains low-profile Cherry MX Red switches.

Going to the back of the box, there is a profile shot of the SK650 with features bullet points surrounding it. Some of these features include Cherry MX low-profile switches, brushed aluminum design, extra slim keycaps, on-the-fly controls, and easy-to-use software. These features are also printed out on the right-hand side in 8 more languages.

Moving to the side of the package, in many languages, it directs you to www.coolermaster.com if you would like more information on the SK650.

Opening the SK650’s original packaging, we find a black box which when opened contains a black velvet bag. I personally love it when companies spend the extra time to upgrade their packaging.

After removing the black bag from the box, we find a user guide for the SK650 and a small black box.

Once all the packaging is removed, the SK650 is revealed, as well as a USB-C cable and a keycap puller.
