Packaging & A Closer Look

Viper Gaming’s Viper Blackout Edition DDR4 UDIMM’s come in a white and blue box with a cutout window that shows one of the two DIMMs inside.

The back of the box has a quick blurb about the Viper Blackout Edition in several languages.

Inside there is a clamshell pack with both modules and a sticker sheet of Viper Gaming Heads.

Each module is completely covered by a heat spreader with a dark grey brushed metal finish. Some accents are painted either side of the raised Viper head logo.

The top edge of each module has a raised fin pattern almost like a spine.

The black PCB underneath ends in the typical DDR4 edge connector with gold plated contacts. Once installed, very little of the PCB is visible.
