A Closer Look
ZADAK uses an asymmetrical aesthetic scheme with the body being mainly black and one corner a silver that blends well into the silver top trim bar.
ZADAK employs an elegant and fairly neutral brushed black and satin silver color scheme, good for any build. Some angular accents break up the oversized heat spreaders.
One of the first things you notice is how tall the memory modules are. Cramming double the capacity doesn’t mean double height, but the roughly 75mm tall modules are noticeably taller than most kits.
Be cautious in small cases or with oversized CPU coolers, these taller modules could get in the way.
Removing a couple of screws from each side of the top bar lets it slide off easily. The heat spreader plates come off pretty easy with a little warming from a hair dryer to reveal a boat-load of chips on each side.
While we’ve seen memory modules with this many chips on it before, it’s always been Server oriented memory.
Memory capacity is achieved with thirty-two Samsung 1GB IC’s, 16 on each side.
