GIGABYTE has recently replaced their very popular G1 GAMING line-up of enthusiast grade hardware with their all new AORUS branded products. The AROUS name, originally given to their high-end laptops, is now on the cover of motherboards and graphics cards alike. The black, red and whites of the G1 GAMING line up has also been replaced with an orange, metallic and a sort of charcoal black scheme of the new AORUS line-up.
The front of the X370 GAMING 5 looks like that of the Z270 GAMING 5. With the Aorus falcon head logo and name, with a brushed metallic design, are in the center of the front of the box. Below the falcon head, in white and orange, you find the Z270X-Gameing 5 branding. To the right of that, there are several icons that represent different features of the motherboard. For example, GIGABYTEs Smart Fan 5, RGB Fusion, the Ryzen branding and AMDs new X370 chipset to name a few. Along the bottom, we find the AORUS Gaming Motherboard, AM4 socket, USB 3.1 gen 2 and NVMe PCIe U.2/M.2. Finally, on the bottom right hand corner, you see the GIGABYTE logo.
The front of the box has the AORUS Falcon Head logo in the center.
On the rear of the box, there is a massive amount of information on the motherboard. The top left hand corner has the AORUS falcon head logo, with the AX370-GAMING 5 product branding to the right. The top right corner shows off the depiction of the motherboard with the lighting zones illuminated. The rear of the package has information on the RGB fusion software and lighting. There is also information on the onboard audio, which features dual ALC 1220 120 dB SNR HD Audio with Smart headphone amp and Sound Blaster X–FI MB5 the rear of the package also makes mention of Smart Fan 5, Dual Ethernet ports, 2-way crossfire and SLI support and USB 3.1 GEN 2 support.
Along the bottom, there is a diagram of the I/O of the motherboard, along with a list of specifications also on the bottom are pictures of some of the key features of the motherboard such as high-end audio components, USB DAC-UP 2, U.2 connector, M.2 support up to 22110, and long life solid capacitors just to name a few.
The rear of the box has information on all the key features of the motherboard.
The top-level lists the main features in several Languages.
The very top of the box has the AX370-GAMING 5 product branding above the AORUS Gaming motherboard branding, as well as mention of the AM4 socket. To the right are a list of the key features such as DDR4 memory, Dual Dios and support for GIGABYTE's APP CENTER in several different languages. The left, right and bottom are essentially the same. All three sides have the AX370 GAMING 5 product branding, the Ryzen logo, mention of the AM4 socket and the X370 chipset as well as the AORUS falcon head logo. The one exception would be the right side of the board. Here the falcon head logo has been replaced with UPC code, EAN number, model and serial number.
The left side, bottom flap, and right side all have the AORUS falcon head logo, and the AX370-GAMING 5 product branding. There is also mention of the X370 chipset, AM4 socket and the Ryzen logo.
On the right side of the box, the Falcon head logo has been replaced with the UPC code, model and serial numbers.
