Packaging & Unboxing
Like many of the Aorus boards, Gigabyte’s Z299 Aorus Master comes in a black box with orange accents and a large silver Aorus Eagle logo taking up most of the front. The model and some related logos cover the bottom third of the box.
The back of the box has a picture of the front and back of the board in the top corner with some specifications under it. Most of the box is covered in features.
The edges mostly just have the Aorus Logo, board model, and some Intel logos.
One edge has some basic features in a multitude of languages.
Inside we find the X299 Aorus Master wrapped in an ESD safe bad and cradled in a foam block.
Under the motherboard tray is a sticker sheet and all of the inclusions in two pockets either side of the tray in the middle that holds the paperwork.
Included goodies cover the usual bases such as SATA cables, a manual and driver disk, and a case badge. Also included are a couple of thermal probes, RGB extension cables, WiFi antenna, and even some Aorus cable wraps.
