Gigabyte Z170X-Ultra Gaming

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

The Gigabyte Z170X-Ultra Gaming checks all the cool boxes. It’s bad and it is black. Granted it did not exactly excel is any of our tests, but it always performed admirably. Long gone are the days were there is significance in generally testing anyways. The elimination of the northbridge by Intel fixed that. Now the differences are just minor. Sure there are some standouts and some fallbacks, but most boards fall in the middle, which is a good thing.

There is nothing missing here. Gigabyte has taken care of all the features and placed them on solid ground. The ambient lighting system is sure to draw attention at any LAN party too. There is so much to love and nothing to hate, unless you do not like black. Like that is going to happen. After all, who does not like the hero in the black leather jacket?

Seek out your dark side and enjoy.
