Packaging and Unboxing

Tenda AV1000

The Tenda Powerline starter kit comes in a fairly small white box with the important specs pictured on the top right.

The rear of the package gives you what the kit is actually designed to be used for, along with a nice diagram helping you picture how the kit works, as well as the specifications in 8 languages.

One side of the package lists the contents, and some of the key features. What really interested me is how prominent their tech support email is, showing me that they really care about their customers and want to make sure everything is setup correctly.

On the other side of the box, is a really nice diagram, giving you the basic overview of how to setup your Tenda Powerline Adapters.

As soon as you open up the box, you are greeted by the two gloss white AV1000 powerline adapters. They have a protective film over the plastic to prevent any damage during shipping.

Once you remove the two powerline adapters, and the cardboard tray, you can see the included Ethernet cables as well as the Quick install guide. The cables have no labels on them so I am not positive whether they are Cat 5e or Cat 6, but for 1Gb speeds, either are just fine.
