Packaging & Unboxing
HyperX’s Fury RGB SSD comes in the signature white and red box with a picture if the drive taking up most of the front.
The back of the box lists the contents and shows the drive lit up in several colors.
The edges of the box just have the HyperX and Fury RGB logos.
Opening the box reveals the Fury RGB SSD cradled in a block of foam and prominently on display.
Under the drive is some documentation.
Under this in the transfer kit is the external enclosure and included multi-bit screwdriver.
Under the enclosure is all the rest of the bits included in the kit like the RGB cables and HyperX case badge.
Don’t forget to look under the SSD tray, there is a 2.5” to 3.5” mount adapter for use in desktops.
Once you pop the drive out of the foam tray, you find the HyperX logo cut into the foam.
The upgraded installation kit includes quite a pile of stuff for an SSD. You get the Fury RGB drive itself, the External USB enclosure, the screwdriver, drive screws, a mounting adapter with more screws, case badge, some documentation and even a key for the full version of Acronis True Image HD software for cloning an existing drive to your new Fury RGB SSD.
