Final Thoughts & Conclusion
There is a reason that Intel sets the standard in the enterprise flash storage world and the SSD DC P4510 series drives are another prime example of why. Performance is predictable and reliable and those are the most desirable traits in an enterprise setting. The consumer street price of right around $800 for the 2TB model is probably a bit more than a volume enterprise customer would pay per drive but still represents great value. It’s only a bit more expensive per capacity than high-performance consumer-oriented drives, but you gain features like onboard power loss protection and Intel’s bullet-proof reliability that would appeal to Enthusiasts and professionals.
Great Job Intel!
