Final Thoughts & Conclusion
ECS has somehow stuffed a genie in this LIVA Q shaped bottle. A 6-watt CPU inside sips less power than your average cell phone charger, but flows through 4K media playback easily and without missing a beat. Web surfing, document editing, even some macro heavy spreadsheets didn’t put a dent in it. Gaming beyond anything more intense than browser games is pretty futile, but if you want this for work, maybe that isn’t a bad thing. We loaded up a pretty substantial media library and Kodi home theater software and had a great experience. It’s these low power uses that you want something done without the cost, power consumption, heat and noise of a full-size PC that the LIVA Q lives for, and in these cases, it’s going to be pretty tough to beat. Great job ECS!
