A Closer Look

ASRock’s Phantom Gaming RX580 features twin fans, each featuring the Phantom Gaming logo in the center. A matte black shroud has glossy black and silver accents.

As this is a more budget oriented offering based around the reference RX580 PCB, there is no backplate. The cooler extends beyond the end of the card a fair distance.

The area either side of the cooler next to the fans is vented to help get hot air out of the cooler.

The rear I/O bracket is also vented. Out of the box, all of the video ports are capped with rubber protectors.

ASRock loads up the display outputs with a trio of DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.0, and a Dual Link DVI-D.

Power is provided with a single 8-pin connector, giving the card a maximum power limit of 225W if you include the 75W PCIe budget. A small ASRock logo sits just under the power connector.
