We’ll try overclocking with ASRock’s own Phantom Gaming Tweak.
At stock under load, we see temps peak at 69C (with an ambient of about 21-22C) but average temps in the low 60C range. Clock speeds hover around the 1380 MHz mark on the core and 8GHz effective for memory. Power draw peaks out a little under 200W.
Power limit goes up to an additional +50%.
Raising the power target gets us a small rise in score over the stock 4518 points.
From here we start turning up the clock speeds, we eventually end up at 1470 MHz core and 8.88 GHz effective memory speed.
All said and done this bumps our Timespy run up to a hair over 5000 points, nearly an 11 percent increase in performance.
