If previous Turing cards are any experience, power limits are the biggest limiter to performance. We’ll start by maxing it out, which surprisingly goes to 120%.
After that, we’ll run the OC Scanner.
You’ll need to give it a few minutes to test the card out and find the sweet spot.
This gives us an increase of 75MHz over stock.
Interestingly, this actually is reflected in the GPU Clock shown on GPU-Z.
We get a small increase in Time Spy from this, our ‘stock’ score was 6611.
Moving over to manual, we were able to max out the memory clock a +1200 MHz, which gives us 13.2 GHz effective, quite the jump over stock. We also got +135MHz on the core, and out GPU stays pretty flat at 2130 MHz, sometimes dipping to 2115MHz for a split second.
When combined, this gives us a huge jump in performance, moving our Time Spy score up to 7130. Nearly 8% higher than stock.
