In Ashes of the Singularity, the ASUS TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 had silky-smooth gameplay at all resolutions, averaging about 60 FPS across the board.

In 1440p, as we saw in the Heaven benchmark, the RX 5700 finds itself in-between the RTX 2060 and RTX 2070s.

Not many changes at 4K with the RX 5700 ahead of the RTX 2060 Supers and mixed in with the RTX 2070s.

The silky-smooth gameplay continues at 1080/1440p with the TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 averaging 119/89 FPS. At 4K, we see the framerate drop below 60 with an average of 46 FPS.

The ASUS TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 once again finds itself in the middle of the RTX 2060 Supers and RTX 2070s.

The TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 struggles a little with Middle-Earth scoring similarly to the RTX 2060.

In Tomb Raider’s latest title Shadow of the Tomb Raider, we see excellent framerates at both 1080/1440p with an average of 105/70 FPS. With the RX 5700 not being a 4K, it’s no surprise that it only managed to hit an average 36 FPS.

At 1440p, it’s a close race between the RTX 2060 Supers, RTX 2070s, and the TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 with only a few FPS difference between them.

At 4K again, we only see a few FPS difference between the RTX 2060 Supers, RTX 2070, and ASUS TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700.

Tom Clancy's The Division

We live in a complex world. The more advanced it gets, the more vulnerable it becomes. We’ve created a house of cards: remove just one, and everything falls apart.

Black Friday – a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, these agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.

When society falls, we rise.

ASUS RX 5700 TUF

In The Division, the TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 excels at both 1080/1440p with average framerates of 116/84 and even at 4K averages a playable 48 FPS.

Since The Division is heavily CPU dependent and we have data from both our 8700K and 9900K testbench, we see the TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 artificially high. Though mimicking most of our other gaming benchmarks, the RX 5700 is just above the RTX 2060 Supers that were also benched on our 9900K.

ASUS RX 5700 TUF

In our most demanding benchmark, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, the ASUS TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 lands just below the RTX 2060 Supers and virtually scoring identical to our reference RX 5700.
