Final Thoughts & Conclusion
The EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GAMING iCX gave top-level consumer performance in our testing. The Factory OC on the card was great out of the box and add our +97MHz OC and we got a good performance bump. The iCX technology is revolutionary and should be an industry standard. Leave it to EVGA to come up with solutions we didn't know we needed but love after they release it. The backplate on the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GAMING iCX is substantial and sure to prevent card sag. We love the iCX cooling solution and can't wait to get hands on more of it!
Now there are higher factory clocked cards on the market like the EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 but the higher factory OC's we've seen aren't substantial enough to make them a better choice. Now if you are a hardcore LN2 OCer then you might want the 10 + 2 phase power and dual BIOS offered on the slightly beefer cards but 99.9% of us will have that stupid satisfaction grin after seeing the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GAMING iCX killing the highest setting at 4K on games we never imagined could look so good.
There's just too much to like about the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GAMING iCX, solid metal cowling, RGB, quiet operation, FPS flying by at supersonic speeds. GDDR5X doesn't hurt our feelings any! The 2 slot width on such a powerful card is a welcome sight. Above and beyond all else is that feeling the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GAMING iCX gives you knowing you can just crush any games graphics. You might take a headshot in an online MMORPG game but the smile the SC2 ICX gives you will never let the smile on your face fade.
