Temperatures, Noise and Power Consumption
Worst case scenario on an open test bench we got 73oC core but look at those other 8 readings you never had access to before ICX. Power runs 71 – 73oC memory runs 57 – 76 oC and we’d say inside a chassis with good airflow those numbers would be lower.
Now here at full fan, we got a core of 59oC, power ranging between 55 – 59oC and memory 48 – 62oC so it looks like the memory to the right of the core is the hot one some airflow through the backplate might lower that some for OCing.
Noise wise on the stock fan profile we couldn’t get the EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB FTW2 GAMING to register on our 30dBA lower threshold sound meter. At full fan inside a chassis from 3 feet, we registered a 41dBA perfectly acceptable and we have no problem with the noise the card produces even at full fan.
