Packaging & Unboxing
The Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC arrived at the door in a mostly black box with subtle accents of orange and Nvidia green. On the front, we have a large robotic AORUS eye in the center with some feature badges in the lower-left corner. These feature badges include:
- Compatible with RGB Fusion 2.0
- Windforce Cooler
- OC Edition of the card
- 4 Year warranty
Flipping it over to the back, we learn more about the Gaming OC’s Windforce cooling system as well as some additional features such as its metal protection backplate, pure copper heatpipes, and 16.7M possible colors for the Gigabyte backlit logo. Over on the right is a diagram of the available connectors on the Gaming OC that include three DisplayPorts, one HDMI, and on USB-C. Also on the right-hand side are the system requirements which are PCI Express-compliant motherboard with one dual-width 16x slot, 650W or great PSU with a 6 and 8 pin PCIe power connector, 1.6GB of hard disk space, 8 GB of system memory, and Windows 7/10 or Linux 64-bit operating system.
Opening the box reveals an all-black box with Gigabyte writing in the center.
Upon opening the inner box is a smaller black accessory, also with Gigabyte written on it.
Lifting the smaller box, we find a precisely cut piece of foam protecting the RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC from damage during transport. The Gaming OC is also protected from any static discharge by also being stored in an anti-static bag.
After all the packaging has been removed, the RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC also included a driver/utility disk and a registration card.
