Final Thoughts & Conclusion
MSI once again proves why the Gaming X Trio family has been one of our personal favorites for a while now. MSI certainly took this “Super” update to heart with this mid-generation refresh of the RTX family. Turing reacts well to faster memory and being able to clear the 18 GHz mark is just mind-blowing. We actually were able to clear the 19GHz mark in a couple of lighter benchmarks which tells us there is still some performance left for the more adventurous overclockers out there. We were also able to maintain core clock speeds of 2100 MHz+ which is also really great. Water cooling would be fun but sub-ambient overclockers should be able to have a field day with MSI. Aesthetically, well, there really isn’t much to say here. It is still (in our opinion) one of the best looking RTX cards on the market, but keep in mind that it’s a very large card so small form-factor users are going to need to do a little measuring just to double-check. If it won't fit, its well worth just getting a new case for this level of performance and stunning good looks!
Great job MSI!
