You can see that the heatsink covers the entire card, and contacts everything important, including the VRM. Heat pipes over the GPU core spread out the biggest heat load.

You get three fairly large heat pipes. Power is fed from a single 8-pin PCIe connection and gives a total of 225W between it and the PCIe slot.
