Overclocking

One of the biggest limits of Nvidia’s Turing powered cards has been power, so we’ll start out by maxing that out. It goes to 110%.

Next, we’ll run the OC Scanner tool built into Zotac’s Firestorm program.

Several minutes later, we have a result.

We get around 330 more points from our stock run at 6408.

Running manually, we are able to get the core up to +211 for a boost speed of about 2075 MHz and the memory up to +1311 which gives us an effective memory speed of 14.6 GHz. We are still bumping into power limits otherwise we would probably be able to sustain the 2130MHz we can get at peak.

This gives us another nice jump in score, narrowly missing the 7000 point mark.
